Joanne Logue

Joanne Logue is a teacher of English and Geography and has been working as a teacher for 13 years. During this time she has taught both subjects to LC Higher level. She has also taught at the Dublin Academy of Education. She has an honours degree in both subjects and has kept up to date with regular CPD.

Cormac Dollard

I have graduated from Maynooth University with a degree in Science Education in 2019 and I’m qualified to teach Biology and Chemistry to Honours Leaving Certificate, and Science to Junior Certificate. Following the completion of this course, I studied the Professional Masters of Education in Maynooth and have graduated with an overall 1.1 Honours degree. I have four years’ experience teaching in a variety of different educational settings and the diversity of these schools has contributed greatly to my development as a professional.

Paddy Leonard - Irish & Spanish

My name is Paddy Leonard and I am from Clonsilla, Dublin. I have been teaching for the past eight years and have been teaching in Coláiste Uisce since 2012. I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Maynooth University studying both Irish and Spanish and also my Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Maynooth University. I am co-founder of Foghlaim Gan Stró. We have our own YouTube channel, Instagram and Facebook page with online resources available for students. I have written a revision Leaving Cert Oral Booklet and this summer Foghlaim Gan Stró ran a three week revision course.

Shane McDonnell

I have an undergraduate degree in Irish, Geography and Human Development from St.Patricks college Drumcondra and a Masters in Education from DCU. I have been teaching in Dublin since 2014 and have worked in some of Dublins top schools. I have worked in Colaiste Uisce since 2012 making my way up through the ranks and I am currently employed there as a principal during summer courses. I am also a co-funder of Foghlaim Gan Stró, an Irish language site which is aimed at helping language learners improve their Irish through our YouTube channel and online resources.

Michelle Maher - Irish & Geography

I graduated from University College Cork in 2003 with an honours degree in Irish and Geography. I achieved first class honours in the Higher Diploma in Education in 2005. I have 15 years teaching experience, teaching Irish and geography to all year groups upto and including leaving cert higher level Irish and Geography.
